RE: Covid-19 Quarantine/Close Contact Guidance

This mandate shall be in effect beginning at 12:00A.M. on Thursday November 4th, 2021 (11/04/2021) and continue through 11:59P.M. Wednesday December 15th, 2021 (12/15/2021).

**It will be the responsibility of the family to comply with this mandate. Failure to do so may result in disciplinary action**

If the player has symptoms of COVID-19 or tests positive for COVID-19, then you must isolate until all the following conditions are met:

  • Ten (10) days since onset of symptoms and
  • Twenty-four (24) hours with no fever (without the use of fever-reducing medications) and
  • Other symptoms of COVID-19 are improving (excluding loss of taste and smell)

If the player has been in close contact (defined below) of COVID-19 and does not show symptoms of COVID-19, then the player must quarantine for the following length of time:

  • Ten (10) days after last exposure
  • Seven (7) days with a negative test result that was collected within forty-eight (48) hours of the end of the quarantine (between days five (5) and seven (7)).

A close contact is defined by any of the following:

  • Within six (6) feet of a positive person(s) for more than fifteen (15) minutes within a twenty-four (24) hour period
  • Physical contact with the person
  • Direct contact with the respiratory system of the person (i.e., from coughing, sneezing, contact with dirty tissue, shared drinking glass (water bottle), food, towels, or other personal items)
  • Live with the person or stayed overnight for at least one night in a household with the person.

Someone who has been fully vaccinated and shows no symptoms of COVID-19 does not need to quarantine. However, fully vaccinated close contacts should consider:

  • Wearing a mask indoors in public for 14 days following exposure or until a negative test result.
  • Getting tested 5-7 days after close contact
  • Getting tested and isolate immediately if experiencing any symptoms.

**Proof of vaccination may be required by if you have been found to be out of compliance with the above scenarios and continue to participate in association sponsored activities**
