Hockey and Hope Feb. 6 for Harlowe Isle

Hockey and Hope Unite Feb. 6 as Thunder Support Harlowe Ilse

The M&M Thunder High School Hockey Team is proud to host its Annual Pink Out Game on Friday, February 6, 2026, at the Marinette Recreation Center, bringing the community together for an unforgettable night of hockey and heart in support of a very special cause.

This year’s game honors and supports Harlowe Ilse, the beautiful 7-year-old daughter of Thunder alumnus Ryan Ilse and her mom, Erica. Harlowe was diagnosed with Late Infantile Batten Disease (CLN-2) on April 2, 2021. Batten Disease is an extremely rare genetic neurological disorder that causes progressive cognitive decline along with the loss of vision, hearing, and motor skills. As the disease advances, children eventually become blind, bedridden, and develop dementia. Tragically, the life expectancy for children diagnosed with CLN-2 is between 6 and 12 years old.

On February 6, the M&M Thunder and the Marinette–Menominee community will rally together to show Harlowe and her family that they are not alone. The Thunder will take on GBU, with puck drop scheduled for 7:00 PM, and the night will be filled with opportunities for fans to support the cause. Fundraising activities throughout the evening will include merchandise sales, a 50/50 raffle, bake sale, wine pulls, bucket raffles featuring one grand prize, a teddy bear toss, and concessions, with all proceeds benefiting Harlowe.

Before the game, the Thunder invite skaters of all skill levels to join the team on the ice for a free skate from 5:30 to 6:00 PM. A valid USA Hockey number is required, and helmets and gloves must be worn. This is a fun, inclusive opportunity for players to skate with the Thunder and be part of the experience.

The M&M Thunder High School Hockey Team is proud to be part of MMAYHA (Marinette-Menominee Area Youth Hockey Association), which serves more than 135 skaters across its programs and continues to grow the game of hockey in our community. Those interested in learning more about Thunder Hockey or MMAYHA are encouraged to visit the team’s Facebook page or online at www.mmthunder.org.

M&M Thunder is also accepting donations and gift baskets to support fundraising efforts for the event. Items can be dropped off at the Marinette Recreation Center concessions beginning February 2. For questions or coordination please contact Thunder at mmthundermarketing@gmail.com or 715-938-1980. Every donation helps make this night even more meaningful.

Join us on February 6, cheer loud, and support Harlowe Ilse. Together, we can make this a powerful night of hockey, heart, and hope.
