M&M Thunder teams combined to go 6-6-2 over the weekend.
The Squirt team went 3-1 with a sweep of Oshkosh at the Community REC Center on Saturday and a split at Manitowoc on Sunday. On Saturday, they topped Oshkosh with scores of 2-1 and 5-1. Connor Eastman (3 goals), Calvin Schroeder (2) and Owen Shaffer (2) each scored multiple goals while Lucien Thayer and Jack Aftanas each collected a win in goal. On Sunday the Thunder took game 1 (3-1) with a pair of 3rd period goals from Jesse McClarren and Easton Baty, but fell 4-3 in game two despite 3rd period goals Aftanas and Wyatt Kneath.
The 12U Girls took a win and a tie at Sauk Prairie on Saturday. Two goals from Natalie Haile with an assist from Addison Lacy paced a 2-0 win in game 1. Katie Olson notched 24 saves to preserve the shutout. Aubree Trensch scored the lone Thunder goal in a 1-1 tie in game two, while Olson produced 20 saves.
The 10U Girls team went 2-1-1 in games against Wausau and Green Bay. The Thunder swept Wausau with scores of 5-1 and 3-2. Whitney Haile had a hat-trick in game 1 and a fourth goal in game 2. Everleigh Wilson also had two goals in game 1. At Green Bay on Sunday, the team drew a 1-1 tie in game 1 and fell 6-2 in game two. Haile scored all three goals on the day.
The PeeWee team dropped a pair of games with scores of 8-2 and 6-1 against Oshkosh on Saturday and fell 5-3 and 7-5 against Green Bay on Sunday.
