HOUGHTON, Mich. – The Marinette High School hockey team headed into the U.P. this weekend and came away with two wins and a tie in four games against Ontonagon and Houghton. Meanwhile, the Thunder Peewees hosted the Battle at the REC tournament.
MARINETTE – The M&M Thunder High School hockey team salvaged a strong weekend with a win and a tie against Marquette on Sunday. Elsewhere in the association, the Thunder Squirt B team brought home some hardware with a tournament championship in Menomonie, Wis.
MARINETTE – The M&M Thunder 18U hockey team hosted the Battle at the REC tournament over the weekend. The Thunder followed their first loss of the season with a tie against Bay Port and a 6-5 win over Hancock thanks to an overtime goal from Ava McDonald.
MADISON - The M&M Thunder High School Hockey team passed its first road test of the season, ringing in the New Year with a pair of wins to move to 5-0 on the season.
MARINETTE – The M&M Thunder high school hockey team moved to 3-0 on the season with a 6-4 win over Manitowoc United at the Community REC Center on Friday. Saturday and Sunday, Mite Madness descended up on the REC Center as the Thunder 8U’s hosted their annual holiday tournament.
